Troubleshooting 123 HP Deskjet 3755 Printer

To clear away paper jam from the input tray of the Printer:

  1. Press the Cancel button to abort print job and clear paper jam automatically. If this does not work then follow the steps given below
  2. Pull to open the input tray and clear the paper jam
  3. Remove any torn or jammed papers and then Reload the input tray with papers

Note: Do not take away the input tray shield since it acts as a barrier to foreign debris that get into the paper path, thus causing paper jam

  1. Press the Resume button present in the control panel to continue the current print job

To clear away paper jam from the Output Tray of the Printer:

  1. Press the Cancel button to abort print job and clear paper jam automatically. If this does not work then follow the steps given below
  2. Pull to open the output tray and clear the paper jam
  3. Press the Resume button present in the control panel to continue the current print job

To Clear away paper jam from the cartridge access area:

  1. Press the Cancel button to abort print job and clear paper jam automatically. If this does not work then follow the steps given below
  2. Turn OFF the Power button in the Printer
  3. Close the Output Tray extender and Pull the Output Door from its both sides in a clockwise direction to stow it in the printer
  4. Open the Front Door present within the Output Door
  5. Open the Cartridge access door and wait until the print carriage is moved to the center
  6. In order to remove paper jam slide the print carriage to the right
  7. Close the Cartridge access door and the Front Door
  8. Close the Output Door by pushing it anti-clockwise towards the Printer until it firmly fits
  9. Pull out the output tray extender for your convenience
  10. Turn ON the Power button in the Printer

To clear away paper jam present inside the printer:

  1. Press the Cancel button to abort print job and clear paper jam automatically. If this does not work then follow the steps given below
  2. Turn OFF the Power button in the Printer
  3. Pull to open the input tray completely
  4. Turn the printer all over and locate the cleanout door, and then pull both tabs to open it.
  5. Remove the jammed paper
  6. Gently push the cleanout door towards the printer until both the tabs snap to latches into place
  7. Turn back the printer all over and fix the input tray to the Printer
  8. Turn ON the Power button in the Printer

To Clear a Print Carriage Jam:

  1. Remove any objects such as paper and other foreign debris, that blocks the print carriage from functioning
  2. Avoid using any tools to free print carriage stall

How to prevent Paper Jams

  1. Load the input Tray with a suitable number of sheets, avoid keeping large number of sheets at once
  2. Promptly take away the printed papers from output tray in order to neglect paper jamming
  3. While loading papers to the input Tray make sure that the papers are not cracked or bent condition
  4. Ensure the loaded papers remain stationary in the input tray and the edges not bent
  5. Always use same type of paper and do not use different paper types while loading the input Tray. i.e., heavily thick or too thin papers
  6. Ensure all of the feed papers in the input Tray are of standard size
  7. Using the paper-width guides in the input tray to feed the papers, eliminates the jams and misalignment during printing
  8. Always use the input tray shield to avoid foreign debris getting into the paper path, thus causing paper jam
  9. Always switch off the Printer before loading paper to input tray. Also avoid loading paper during printing process
